I worked with him the first two times, and then I talked with him that this would reflect on his evaluation and that I could not keep rearranging my plans to accommodate his needs if he could not adhere to time frames. Flexibility is important in teaching, but meeting deadlines and attendance are essential professional qualities that are required.\u201d<\/em> <em>T. PSTs need to appreciate and demonstrate the importance of consistent punctuality and reliable attendance. For some PSTs appreciating timeliness as demanded of a teacher in school settings is an area for growth and requires direct support. A fire drill, field trip, all-school assembly, or any number of events change the schedule and climate of the classroom.
